Over the summer, I had about a week in between my Two Bit Circus Foundation internship and classes starting up again so I decided to give making my own ukulele a shot! I used a DIY kit that came with all the components separately. After I put it together, I painted it based off of scenes from Santa Cruz. On the front, I put a scene of my favorite beach: Natural Bridges. On the back, I included the lighthouse on West Cliff drive.
